About EDUCATE AND EMPLOY AMERICA

EDUCATE AND EMPLOY AMERICA is a non-profit organization, a subsidiary of PQ Teaching Ministry (a 501(c)(3) organization) (EDUCATE AND EMPLOY AMERICA referred to as “EEA”) is committed to protecting the privacy of your Personal Information (defined below). This Privacy Policy explains how EEA collects and utilizes Personal Information to enhance your EEA experience during your use of EEA products and services on its educational platform.

EEA cares deeply about online privacy. If you have any questions concerning this Privacy Policy or about EEA’s views on Privacy with regard to our Products and Services, please email us at privacy@educateandemploy.org.

Information Collection and Use by EEA

EEA collects information submitted by its users, such as name, email address, and age, to authenticate users and to send them notifications relating to the EEA services. EEA also collects other profile and preference data, including but not limited to, personal interests, gender, age, education and occupation, in order, to assist users to find and communicate with each other.

EEA also logs non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, general profile information, aggregate user data, and browser type, from users and visitors to the EEA site(s) (including the All Access Service). This data is used to manage the website, track usage and improve the website services, among other things. This non-personally-identifiable information may be shared with third-parties (including EEA content provider partners) to provide services (including All Access) and advertisements to members. User IP addresses, zip codes, and other geographic location information are recorded for security and monitoring and other benign purposes. EEA collects information concerning software you have downloaded from EEA, products and content purchased, accessed, downloaded and/or streamed through EEA products or services (including, in the case of Educational products, via various formats to track streamed, purchased or saved in libraries or playlists, or shared with others).

User Profile information including members’ pictures and chosen usernames are displayed to users and visitors in order to facilitate interaction in the EEA community. Email addresses are used for the purposes of inviting new friends to join EEA, to add users to members’ friends’ networks, and to send notifications related to the service. With the exception of inviting friends, adding friends, and notifications, a user’s email address is not shared or displayed to people within a user’s personal network. Users within a personal network communicate on EEA with each other through the EEA service, without disclosing their email addresses – unless they so chose. Users’ full names are never directly revealed by EEA to other members or visitors. To facilitate searching and finding friends and acquaintances on the service, EEA allows users to search for other members using first and last name, and email address. EEA also allows users to connect their EEA account with their Facebook account, Tweeter account, LinkedIn account and other social media platforms for the purposes of finding friends on the Service and sharing personal lessons/courses history with user’s friends on social media platforms, if he/she so chooses. We may also use a user’s email address to send updates, a newsletter, or news and updates regarding the Service.

From time to time, EEA or a partner, may sponsor a promotion, sweepstake or contest on EEA. In order to participate, users may be asked to provide personal information including name, email address or home address or to answer questions. We may transfer personal information to aid partners that you have explicitly requested to receive information from. It will be clear at the point of collection who is collecting the personal information and whose privacy statement will apply.

Invitations and Other Communications to Non-members EEA members can invite friends to join the service by sending invitation emails via our automated invitation system. EEA stores the email addresses that members provide so that the respondents may be added to the referring member’s friend’s list, and also to send reminders of the invitations. EEA does not sell these email addresses or use them to send any other communication besides invitations and invitation reminders. Recipients of invitations from EEA may contact EEA to request the removal of their information from our database.

EEA members may also store email addresses of people they know in their internal EEA address book and may also choose to send invitations and other communications to those addresses.

EEA does not use your Personal Information for purposes incompatible with those listed above.

In some cases, access to certain products and services, such as content subscription products or products distributed by third parties may require the provision of Personal Information to a third party, such as a content provider, advertising network, or distributor. Also, EEA may disclose your Personal Information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law; (b) comply with the order of a competent judicial authority in any jurisdiction; (c) comply with legal process served on EEA; (d) protect and defend the rights or property of EEA; or (e) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of EEA products or the public at large.

Your credit card will be charged for the renewal term of your Service on your billing date (“Billing Date”), based on the type of subscription (e.g., on a particular date each month for a monthly subscription; on the three-month date for a quarterly subscription; on the anniversary for an annual subscription, etc.). If, however, your Activation Date is on the 29th, 30th or 31st day of a month, and your Billing Date does not exist in a particular month because there are fewer than thirty-one (31) days in the month payment is due, your Billing Date for that particular renewal will be on the last day of the month in which your Billing Date would otherwise be.
